Laboratories
The college is well equipped with laboratories and aims to give the students hands-on training & experiments. The labs are well designed to permit the students with ample working space. It provides students an opportunity to develop and refine their technical skills. At YJR PU College, teacher-student interaction boosts a learning experience among the students through experiments which can help them to explore themselves in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, & Computer Science.
Sports
YJR PU College ensures a healthy lifestyle within the student community by encouraging them to participate in indoors and outdoors games. YJR has a reputation in the past winning in various inter collegiate tournaments.
Seminar Hall
The college provides spacious seminar halls fully air-conditioned with a captivating ambience, different from the usual classroom atmosphere for presentations, guest lectures and seminars. A well-equipped hall facilitates various programs like annual day, alumni meet, parent teacher meet, exhibitions & etc. Apart from class room lectures, students need to upkeep themselves with a variety of skills with team spirit and leadership qualities. YJR also promotes varied kinds of activities.
Audio-Visual Room
Audio-Visual Room is well equipped with specialized projectors, smart-boards stereo sound and wireless connectivity that encourage active participation and collaboration. AVR is used for conventional and innovative teaching, special lectures and demonstrations, workshops and community outreach and others programmes.
Library
The library is fully equipped with nearly 500+ books from various streams. It possesses a huge collection of books and journals.
Safe Environment with CCTV Surveillance
24 hours well experienced security staff monitors safe entry and exit of the students. Entire college campus is under the surveillance of CCTV cameras.

Hostel
Limited Hostel accommodation is available for boys and girls separately. Admissions are made on first serve basis. The experienced warden is present to provide their necessary individual attention and to look after discipline and wellbeing of the student.
Men’s / Girls Hostel General Rules
- Strict silence should be maintained in the Hostel. Hostel rooms and toilets must be kept clean and tidy. Unnecessary usage of electricity, water etc., is strictly prohibited and anyone misusing the facility is liable for penalty.
- Students should report themselves to the warden before 8-00 pm. The main gate will be closed and locked by 9-00 pm. No student shall be allowed to enter the Hostel after 9-00 pm. All outside work including phone calls should be completed before 9-00 pm
- No visitors are permitted to enter the Hostel Rooms.

Discipline
The YJR Management expects a high degree of discipline from the students. The students should be dressed well, maintain time in all the chores assigned to them, be attractive in personal hygiene and above all an exemplary behaviour. The management takes a serious view of students who strike or boycott classes and such irresponsible behaviours will not be tolerated.
STUDENTS, FOUND GUILTY OF PROVOKING, INSTIGATING, LEADING OR PARTICIPATING IN ANY ILLEGAL STRIKE OR BOYCOTT OF CLASSES WILL BE SUMMARILY DISMISSED.
